Khawaja Abu Al-Khair
Al-Shaykh Muhammad Abdullah Jan Sb
Born on February 17, 1938, in Peshawar, Khawaja Abu Al-Khair Al-Shaykh Muhammad Abdullah Jan was a revered spiritual leader, known for his dedication to Islamic teachings, spirituality, and global religious outreach. With the titles of Peer-e-Tariqat (Spiritual Guide) and Zeenat Al-Zakireen (Beacon of Divine Remembrance), he was cherished for his noble character and deep commitment to uplifting the community. His father, known as Baba Ji Sarkar, was also a respected figure renowned for his piety and compassion toward the underprivileged.
Khawaja Abu Al-Khair received his initial Quranic and formal education in Peshawar, later studying extensively under prominent Islamic scholars. He was inspired by a strong spiritual upbringing, and from a young age, signs of his spiritual inclination were evident. Under his father’s guidance, he was introduced to the Naqshbandi spiritual path, and he formally received Khilafah (spiritual succession) from his mentor, Khawaja Nawabuddin Mohri, on March 7, 1954.
Khawaja Abu Al-Khair established numerous spiritual and educational centers, dedicating his life to guiding people toward the love of Allah SWT. He passed away on May 23, 2020, but his teachings and legacy continue to inspire his successors and followers worldwide.
Khawaja Abu Al-Jamal
Al-Shaykh Muhammad Badar-e-Alam Jan Sb
Born on July 21, 1972, in Peshawar, Khawaja Abu Al-Jamal Al-Shaykh Muhammad Badr-e-Alam Jan began his education with Quranic studies, followed by formal schooling in Peshawar. He pursued higher Islamic education at Minhaj University, Lahore, and completed studies in Shariah at the International Islamic University, Islamabad. His father, Khawaja Abu Al-Khair, recognized his spiritual potential early and personally guided his spiritual training.
In 1995, Khawaja Abu Al-Jamal was formally vested with the Khilafah at the shrine of Khawaja Baqi Billah. Later, in 2006, he traveled with his father to sacred sites in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, where he received special blessings and permission to propagate the teachings of multiple Sufi orders. He was granted the authority in the Naqshbandi, Qadri, and Maliki Sufi orders by distinguished Islamic scholars in Syria and Makkah.
Today, Khawaja Abu Al-Jamal continues his father’s mission of spiritual and religious guidance, leading followers on the path of divine love and wisdom while propagating the teachings of the Naqshbandia Mujaddadia Alkhairia golden Sufi order.
The 11 Principle Teachings of the Naqshbandi Path
Guiding Principles for Inner Purification and Divine Connection
The Naqshbandi Sufi order is guided by eleven fundamental principles that serve as spiritual pillars, leading practitioners toward a deep connection with the Divine. The first eight principles were established by the revered Shaykh Abdul Khaliq Gajadwani, with the final three added by Shaykh Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari, enhancing the pathway to self-purification and closeness to God.
Remembrance
(Yād-kard – یاد کرد)
Continually engage in both oral and mental repetition of the dhikr (remembrance of God), fostering a constant state of Divine connection.
Restraint
(Bāz-gasht – بازگشت)
Repetition within the heart of the phrase La-ilaha il-allah muhammadur rasul-allah (“There is no deity but God, and Muhammad is His Messenger”), ensuring one’s heart remains steadfast in faith.
Watchfulness
(Negāh-dāsht – نگاه داشت)
Cultivate awareness over wandering your thoughts and remaining mindful of God while reciting the sacred words with the pure intentions of pleasing

Recollection
(Yād-dāsht – ياد داشت)
Emphasize deep concentration upon the Divine presence, developing intuitive awareness that transcends reliance on external aids.

Morning Khatm
The Morning Khatm Shareef, performed after the Fajr prayer, is a powerful recitation to start the day with blessings and protection. It includes specific verses, praises, and invocations that aim to draw Divine mercy and guidance. This morning practice helps in centering one’s spirit, inviting clarity, and fostering resilience to face the day with faith and tranquility.
